What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide. When you run a scan, we log the URL you submitted and the resulting report. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and debugging purposes.

How we use it

We use your email to send you account-related messages (receipts, scan results, product updates). We use scan data to generate your reports and to improve our detection engine. We do not sell your data. We do not use your scan results to train third-party AI models without your consent.

Cookies & analytics

We use session cookies required for authentication. We may use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking) to understand which features are used. You can block cookies in your browser — the app will still work, but you will need to log in each session.

Data retention

Free accounts retain the last 3 scan reports. Pro accounts retain full history for the duration of the subscription. When you delete your account, your personal data and reports are removed within 30 days.

Crawling policy

SiteBlob only scans publicly accessible pages. We do not attempt to bypass authentication or submit real forms with personal data. For more detail, see /security.

Third-party services

We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, and Stripe for payment processing. These services have their own privacy policies. We share only the minimum data required for each service to function.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account, or opt out of marketing emails at any time by emailing hello@siteblob.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR.

Changes to this policy

We will notify you by email if we make material changes to this policy. Continued use of SiteBlob after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
