How SiteBlob works
Effective May 2025. Practical notes for interpreting reports.
What we scan
SiteBlob scans publicly accessible pages and collects evidence from observable residue: visible text, head metadata, DOM structure, asset paths, and basic semantic/IA markers.
What we do not do
We do not bypass authentication, attempt exploitation, or submit real forms with personal data. Findings are signals, not a claim of wrongdoing.
Signals vs verdicts
Each finding includes evidence. A single weak signal should not be treated as proof. Strong conclusions require corroboration across families (e.g., placeholder copy + dead CTAs + missing trust surfaces).
Fix workflow
Start with critical and warning findings that include concrete evidence (selectors/snippets/attributes). Fix those first, then re-scan and compare. Pro reports include step-by-step fix guidance and verification steps.
